Hi, I'm Ted Newsome and this is my production company OTD Films. I have been in love with shooting and editing video since I snuck into my dad's closet in the 80's and borrowed his VHS camera to film my friends skateboarding. In the 90's I was the art director for Transworld Skateboarding magazine. I designed 100 issues of the magazine and I spent many a late-night hour timing video to music. In the 2000's I produced four different series for FUEL TV and learned how to crank out all kinds of broadcast-quality content. In the 2010's I really stepped up my camera game and transformed my love/hate relationship with video editing into just plain love.

In 2012 I created On The Day, a fully-insured one-stop shop for cinema-quality content. On The Day is a term used on the set to refer to the time when all the pieces of the puzzle have come together and we're ready to do this thing. On The Day has evolved into OTD Films and we specialize in Documentary, Promotional, Commercial, Music Videos, Scripted - anything and everything video related. I have a crew of talented camera operators, sound professionals, gaffers and more, so let's chat about your big idea and bring it to life ASAP.
